DO YOU SUPPLY THE ALCOHOL FOR MY EVENT? 

We offer complete beverage catering services; however, legally, alcohol must be purchased by the client. Our team will be more than happy to assist you in the ordering process and determine what types and how much alcohol is needed for your event. Our licensed bartenders are legally allowed to serve it, so once you’ve bought it, we will handle it from there. 

DO YOU OFFER CASH BARS?

No, we are unable to offer cash bars at this time. If you are interested in hosting an event in which drinks are limited to a per-person maximum, please contact us to discuss your options.

IF YOU ARE NOT PROVIDING THE LIQUOR, WHERE SHOULD I GET IT?

You are free to purchase your liquor at any liquor store. However, we work with a preferred partner that will be more than happy to assist you in ordering liquor and offers discounts for working with us. We will draft an order form for you in advance and assist you in placing the order.

DO YOU CARRY INSURANCE AND WHAT KIND OF PERMITS ARE REQUIRED?

Each of our bartenders are ABC licensed, and Hook and Can Bartending carries both General Event Insurance and Liquor Liability Insurance. Our Service Agreement Contract discusses further information regarding our policies.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL? 

Hook and Can Bartending in based in Memphis, TN, and services the Memphis metro area and several surrounding counties, including DeSoto County. If your event is outside the area, please feel free to contact us in order to determine if we are able to cater your event (additional fees may apply). We are more likely to be able to meet your needs if inquiries are made in advance!

HOW CAN YOU HELP US PLAN A DRINK MENU FOR OUR EVENT? 

We can help create specialty cocktails, cocktail menus, and provide professional beer and wine expertise to make your event unique and specialized. We can also create a cocktail recipe just for you! We offer cocktail crafting consultation with optional in-person tastings for an additional fee in order to ensure our mixes match your vision.

DO YOU HAVE A RAIN DATE POLICY?

We are unable to make last minute date changes due to our advanced booking model. All events are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis, so once a date or time is claimed, we will be unable to schedule further events for that time. If you should need to change the date, time, or location of your event, all changes must be discussed 30 days in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you needs; however, we cannot guarantee that we can reschedule your services due to conflicting obligations. Our bars are equipped for both indoor and outdoor use should weather changes occur that would require moving your event.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY?

A 50% deposit will be required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due by the date of your event.  Cancellations made greater than 60 days prior to your event date will receive a 50% refund of deposits paid. Cancellations made 60 days or less from the date of your event will not receive a refund for the deposit. Deposit funds do not go toward the purchase of alcohol.
